Dogwoods of Tulsa
All around town dogwoods are bursting into bloom, a sure sign spring has arrived. Most dogwoods will grow around 15′ (more if given the space) and make an excellent under-story tree under a large shade tree. They do best with morning sun and some afternoon shade; don’t plant in full direct Western Sun. In fall dogwoods have lovely red berries for birds to enjoy and a nice fall color.
