In this 90-minute workshop by Oklahoma textile maker Natasha Ball of House Sparrow Fine Nesting, you will create your very own handmade macrame hanging planter. We will cover basic macrame terms and techniques, including how to customize your hanger for any planter, how to decorate your hanger with knots and fringe, and how to hang your final piece. All supplies, including a take-home DIY instruction booklet, are included. Natasha will have additional hanging-planter kits, which include cord, beads, hanger, and instruction booklet, available for purchase during class.
Southwood will have plenty of air plants and succulents in stock, perfect for your new hanger. Pro tip: Wear comfortable shoes!
